Today's song is one that no one should listen to... unless you're a 12 year old girl, have no concept of what good music is... or if you're a 19 year old male, you just watch the video for this song. At any rate, this song is terrible - Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne.

As an already closet Avril Lavigne listener (mostly to the album 'Let Go') let me just say that this song makes me want to hide longer. There is no creativity to this song, and it is nothing but poppy bubblegum shit for someone like Avril. What in the hell happened to the rock princess?
Terrible song. Don't waste your time.

May 16, 2007 - What I've Done

Today's song is "What I've Done" by Linkin Park... from the album that just came out yesterday, Minutes to Midnight.

Lyrics:

I love the way this song starts. Piano integrated with a metal-esque beat, followed by drums... then it all comes out, with all the instruments doing their thing. This is the first song I've actually listened to off the new album, but so far so good. Many of the LP fans are saying this album is crap... I like this song. It's definelty different from the old stuff, but bands should always be thinking of change. I applaud them on at least trying! We'll see how the rest of the album is when I actually get my hands on a copy...
